Hello friends and family of our Brookman Builders! My name is Alisa Atherton and I have the privilege of being a fourth grade teacher at Brookman Elementary school.

My husband and I have enjoyed living in Las Vegas since 2001. I began my teaching career in California in 1997. We are raising four incredible daughters and one son. All four of our daughters have attended K-5 at Brookman E.S. and have loved it!

I have admired and appreciate the commitment and dedication with which our school administrators, teachers, and support staff perform their jobs. My children, and yours, are receiving a quality education from caring and professional individuals. I am thrilled to be part of the staff at Brookman Elementary and I look forward to another successful year with my class.

This is my 5th year teaching 2nd grade here at Brookman Elementary. I was born and raised in Las Vegas and the Clark County School District. After graduating high school, I attended Brigham Young University where I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I am thrilled to be teaching in the district where I grew up. My favorite things to do outside of school include reading, swimming, hiking, and watching movies. I look forward to a great year here at Brookman!

I love to teach! I can't think of anything better than being with children! This is my 8th year at Brookman Elementary School and I have cherished every minute of it!

I have been in the Clark County School District much longer since I grew up in Las Vegas! I graduated Valedictorian at Chaparral High School, received a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University, and a Masters of Education from U.N.L.V.

When I'm not at school, I am chasing and cleaning up after my enthusiastic 3-year old, new baby, and sometimes, my husband too! :)

I enjoy reading, movies, theater, being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with my family.

I look forward to another wonderful year with the teachers, parents, and students at Brookman!

Hello parents and families! I am thrilled to be teaching at Brookman Elementary School again and I am looking forward to another very successful year!

I earned my Bachelorís Degree in Child and Adolescent Development and completed the requirements for my teaching credential at California State University, Fullerton. I have had experience teaching 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Grade, and I am so excited to be teaching 4th Grade again this year at Brookman! Becoming a teacher was not only a job quest; it was my lifelong dream. I was inspired to teach at a very young age by one of my own teachers and I hope to instill a lifelong love for learning in your child! When I am not teaching, I really enjoy cooking, traveling and spending time with my family.

This will be an exciting year, filled with many new adventures!
