Courtyard
The courtyard is a roomy covered area with a stage, benches, and picnic tables. It is used by Brookman students and teachers for activities such as special lunches, reading al fresco, and activities that require extra room and movement. Students love to be in the courtyard!

Courtyard Mural
The mural on the wall behind the courtyard stage depicts a scene from Nevada's landscape. The Nevada landscape was selected as the mural topic because Mrs. Bookman was at one time on the state legislature and loved our state. The bighorn sheep was chosen to be the first state symbol to be included in the mural. We hope to add more symbols in the future. The owl was included in the mural as a tribute to Mrs. Brookman who loved owls.
